The family business Lavenham Photographic Studio started life in the Suffolk village of Lavenham, where we have our timber-framed studio. Ben Brown moved the operating address of the business just over the Suffolk-Essex border, and is now a local wedding photographer for venues such as Hedingham Castle, The Fennes Estate in Bocking and other local Essex wedding venues such as Spains Hall and the brand-new venue Houchins in Coggeshall.

Ben Brown has been photographing weddings for over 13 years, with well over 500 weddings to his name. This great experience comes into play in many ways on the occasion of photographing a wedding – the day will run smoother and without delays if the photographer works swiftly, more time can be spent enjoying the day with your guests if less time is spent on photography, and yet with the right attitude, professional approach and awareness, Ben will ensure important photos are not missed either.
