As a photographer, every wedding I am privileged to photograph is a unique experience, and Rebecca and Jake’s wedding at Gosfield Hall was no exception. The venue itself, with its stunning Georgian architecture and picturesque gardens, provided a beautiful backdrop for the couple’s special day.

From the moment I arrived, I could feel the excitement in the air. The bridal party was getting ready in the luxurious Rococo Suite, and the groomsmen in the Kings Apartment. I started capturing candid shots of the hustle and bustle, as hair and makeup artists busily prepared the bride and her bridesmaids.

After the wedding ceremony, we moved outside for the group photos, and I was able to capture some lovely shots of the happy couple with their families and friends. The grounds at Gosfield Hall provide plenty of great locations for these shots, and I took advantage of the beautiful scenery to create some stunning images. I work at Gosfield regularly, so I have many many favourite photo locations around the grounds, and inside the venue, and I move between them efficiently, to capture a huge number of high-impact photographs, while not taking too much time away from their guests.

The evening brought the time for cutting the wedding cake, then followed by throwing the bouquet. Then the first dance, and I was ready, set up with remote, off-camera lighting to enhance the photos with starbursts to each side of them. Rebecca and Jake danced together, surrounded by their friends and family.

To top the day off, fireworks on the terrace had been arranged, as a surprise to the guests, and the ever-popular ‘sparkler exit’. So many outstanding photos from Rebecca & Jake’s wedding at Gosfield Hall, that it is hard to pick out favourites!

Throughout the day, I was struck by the warmth and happiness of everyone involved. It was clear that Rebecca and Jake were surrounded by people who loved and cared for them deeply, and it was a joy to be able to capture these moments for them.
