Professional ballroom dancers strike a pose for the camera

Gosfield Hall Wedding photography for me always starts at least an hour and a half before the ceremony so I have time to photograph around the house and grounds, as well as visiting both the bride and the groom for a few photos of their preparations. It’s great having both the preparations, the ceremony, reception, wedding breakfast and meal under one roof because it means I can easily move between the two, spending a short while with each as well as photographing the venue and guests arriving for the wedding.

The Wedding Ceremony

Gosfield Hall has several locations to hold the wedding ceremony, indoor positions being the Queen’s gallery and the Grand Salon. Stefanie & Ben opted for the Queen’s gallery, with its long aisle for the bride to walk down with her entourage.

Romantic photographs in the grounds at Gosfield Hall

My photography style is always to keep everything feeling relaxed. I don’t like to pose anything too heavily as many photos can look forced. I prefer instead to stand the couple comfortably, only asking for simple movements, hands around backs, or looking this way or that as it gives the most natural results. Everyone will have their own way of reacting, just as each couple will interact with each other uniquely. People don’t want to look at their wedding photos and feel they weren’t being themselves.

What follows is a larger set of the highlights; just a handful of the photographs picked from the full set of hundreds that told the complete story of the day so you can see more clearly the range of styles of photography.

These images are just a handful of the full set of images Stefanie & Ben received from their wedding photos. Most wedding photography packages include the supply of all images on a USB without copyright restrictions, so they can be printed or shared as you wish. For more info please browse my website.

Ben Brown, Wedding Photographer for Lavenham Photographic has been recommended by Gosfield Hall for around fifteen years! This means there is a close relationship between Ben and venue staff, helping the day run smoothly. Also, this experience means the best locations for the best wedding photographs are easily found in all kinds of weather, lighting and times of year.
